NEW MEANINGS!!!

‘A healthy mind resides in a healthy body'

Accept things, people and situations   as they are and you find life becomes so much easier. Learn to “Grin and bear it” as the saying goes. Otherwise you know what happens…….life's experiences.......

FOLKS....ITS ALL ABOUT NEW MEANINGS URGENTLY NEEDED!!!

When I read  in the newspaper that  a missing dog was traced after his photograph was posted on FB, I thought  idioms  related to canines(which are unfortunately negative in nature)  should  acquire a new meaning   so as to command greater respect in society, perhaps even more than human beings.

For instance ‘It’s a  dog’s life’ should come to mean ‘a life of  Roses.’

‘Dog days’ should mean  ‘Vacation days’

‘Every dog  has its day’  should mean ‘ Lucky as a dog.’

‘Fighting like cats and dogs’ should  mean ‘ A fight between equals.’

‘Dog in the manger’ should mean  ‘ Competitive spirit’

‘Dog eat dog’ should mean ‘A very practical approach in today’s world’

‘A dog’s breakfast’ should mean ‘Important meetings’

‘You can’t teach an old dog new tricks’ should mean ‘ Rich experience’

‘Go to dogs’ should mean ‘ A better future.’

‘Let sleeping dogs lie’ should mean ‘ Wake up call’

However there are two exceptions to these new meanings  of mine:

‘A dog and pony show’ can be practiced  even today if you wish to succeed in life!

‘ In the dog house’ applies to people who abuse their  power  all over the world.

A PEOPLE WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE  OF THEIR PAST HISTORY, ORIGIN AND CULTURE ARE LIKE A TREE WITHOUT ROOTS

KUNTI

Kunti story from her birth till the time she accompanied Dhritarashtra and Gandhari to the forest, renouncing all that she held dear., which drew mainly upon sage Vyasa’s ‘Mahabharata,’ Kunti had taken a viswaroopa ... Kunti was a prisoner of circumstances. She was born as Pritha, the daughter of Surasena, but was given in adoption to Kuntibhoja. Graphically the inherent curiosity of a little girl testing the efficacy of the mantra taught to her by sage Durvasa, her shock at Soorya’s appearance, her hidden joy at the birth of a baby, followed by her torment while deserting it for fear of societal censure.
Kunti was almost a puppet in the hands of fate. She was married to King Pandu, but as a result of a curse on him, she had to use the mantra to beget children of Dharma, Vayu and Indra. She she set afloat Karna, but nurtured Madri’s children along with her three sons.
Life was not a bed of roses for the royal princess. Her sons (the Pandavas) lost their kingdom, daughter-in-law Draupadi was disrobed in public, Kunti herself spent many years in the forest, and she could not reveal that Karna was her eldest son. But Kunti was never bitter – there in lay her nobility  .. . The unwavering devotee in Kunti knew that gods’ leelas were to test and help the devotees. She, therefore, asked for more miseries, so that she could always think of Lord Krishna.   Kunti emerged as a towering personality, a strong noble woman who guided her five sons through a tumultuous life and was not cowed down by misfortune. She was not without her faults, her moments of weakness – all that made Kunti human and vulnerable.
Kunti’s life–journey as a girl, a wife, a mother, and a rajamata. But her description of Kunti as a companion, surpassed all. It was an emotional moment when Kunti finally walking away with Gandhari and Dhritarashtra to the forest. Determined to accompany the blind old king and his blind-folded queen, Kunti bade her sons farewell, blessed them all and commanded them to go back to the city. It was a solemn moment. The evocative web of words was so poignant that we all  moved by it.

Prayers

Ordinarily, prayers are said with some objectives in mind. God is the greatest giver of all givers and He certainly gives, but the person offering prayers should have some patience and have peace of mind until he gets the reward. Don't ever imagine that if you have not been rewarded, your prayers have not been heard. The god has already accepted your prayers but the rewards will come at the proper time. You have planted a tree today, given it water and fertilizer over a short time. It does not mean that it will give you the fruits today itself or in a short while. There is no way to coax the lant to mature quickly and before its time. God's command is such that the tree will bear fruit at the designated time - not before and not after. In the same way, on the creeper of the prayers the flowers and the fruits will come - but at the appropriate time.

Gods rule of work

Change , evolution , transformation is a process in this universe . Change keeps the life moving ahead . Dry , wilted leaves fall from the tree giving way to new fresh leaves . Every night has a dawn and every day ends in dusk . God's rules work every where , his systems and discipline work flawlessly God 's shelter his divine name brings bliss to all . He is the father to orphanage , hope to weak and prosperity to needy . The energy , motivation to downtrodden will never leave your side . Your shadow may dismay you but God's unconditional love will never ever betray you .
