Ashtapadi 19-8

Smara-Garala-Khandanam Mama Shirasi Mandanam

Sri Jayadeva - Ashtapadi reveals the  True Essence of Love between Sri Radha and Sri Krishna.  Sri Geetha Govinda Mahakavyam declares the beautiful blend and unison of Jeevathma with Paramatma.

When Jayadevar got the inspiration to write the beautiful lines ’Smara Garala  Kandanam Mama Shirsi Mandanam Dhehi Padha Pallavam Udharam ….’ He abruptly threw away his pen  with a wavering mind and got up from his seat.  He did not want to continue writing.  His eyes were filled with tears and he started to cry like a child, ‘What a sin I have committed….Lord…Apacharam…Apacharam. How  could I write these lines? How an ardent devotee –  Sri Radha could keep her feet on Lord Krishna's head?.   He is the Supreme Lord.‘  He thought, a devotee can keep Lord’s feet on his/ her  head but it is never possible a devotee’s feet on Lord’s Head.  The whole night he could not sleep thinking of the sin he had committed.  After seeing her husband’s restlessness Smt.Padmavathy - the wife of Jayadevar went to pray to Lord.  She sincerely prayed to Lord to help her husband complete the compositions  of Ashtapadi without any break.  Jayadevar was tormented by the thought of his ignorance and felt terrible.

The next day morning, the King Krouvcha invited Jayadevar to His palace.  Jayadevar  finished his morning abulations , prayers to Lord and  left to palace.  Smt.Padmavathy sent off her husband, closed the doors and engaged herself in her routines.

After a few minutes, she heard somebody knocking at the door.  She opened the door and saw Jayadevar standing in front of her.  Without asking anything he replied to her that he was not feeling well.  It was too hot outside and he was feeling giddiness.  On  half way to palace he returned home.  He instructed Padmavathy to bring some hot oil to take bath.  She was shocked to hear this from her husband.  That day was Ekadashi, an auspicious day to worship Lord Hari and Tuesday usually Jayadevar observed Ekadashi by  fasting sincerely.  Moreover, He had his morning abulations and prayers already.  But she was not in a position ask anything to him.  As a sincere wife, Padmavathy brought  hot oil and Jayadevar asked her to rub the oil on his head.  She sang a song in her melodious tune and rubbed the hot oil in his head.

Srirama Jaya Jaya……Seetha Manohara…
Karunya Sagara Karuna nidhey Jaya Jaya

According to Dharma and Sastras, taking oil bath on an Ekadashi day is inauspicious.  Sastras say that an ordinary person’s hand should not rest on the head of  a King, A shishya should not place his hands on his Guru’s head  and a wife should not place her hand on her husband's head.  She felt terribly wrong.  Jayadevar instructed Padmavathy to bring the ‘Grantham’ (olachuvadi – the writing materials in olden days )in which he used to write 'Ashtapadi'.   Padmavathy brought it to her husband and he started writing the same lines.

Smara Garala Khandanam…… Mama Shirasi Mandanam…Dehi Padha pallavam Udharam’

The meaning of the lines goes on like this, 'Hey Radhey keep your feet on my head, in order to make me happy  I am burning with the desires for you.  I am totally  in love with you'.
Immediately after his bath, Jayadevar instructed Padmavathy to serve the previous day's cooked rice (Pazhayasadam).  It was a total strange behaviour she could expect from him.    Usually, they both observed Ekadashi sincerely and didn’t keep any previous day’s leftovers on the day of Ekadashi.  However, she had kept  the previous day's handfull of cooked rice .  He advised her to feed him.   He had a mouthful and asked her to take the rest of the rice and went out.

She cried to Lord.   She sincerely prayed to Lord, Jayadevar  was terribly  affected by something and he was not in a normal state of mind   .  She wanted her husband in his old form when he returned. ....
Jaydevar arrived home and explained about his meeting with the king.  He asked his wife  to bring all the pooja materials for the afternoon.  She surprisingly asked him ‘Why did you come early? Just now only you left to  the Palace.’  Jayadevar astonishingly replied that she was thinking of him all the time, so  it made her think like that.  He consoled her that she must have fallen asleep and dreamt.  She cried to Jayadevar and started to explain everything about his oil bath, writing on the Grantham (Olachuvadi) to complete ashtapadi, eating yesterday’s cooked rice  etc.. He became confused and  rushed to pick the Grantham, to check the writings of Ashtapadi with the oil finger print on it.   He was firmly beleived that Padmavathy was mistaken and was lying to him.   He did not want to read  the lines  completely.

Smara Garala Kandanam…… Mama Shirasi Mandanam…dehi mudha pallavam

His face reddened with anger.   How Padmavathy dared to do this? How could she write these futile lines about Lord Krishna.    In a rage he  took the sword to cut off her head.  He felt  that she committed a great sin and was not worthy to live in this Earth. In a sudden rage, forcefully lifted the sword to shove off her head,  Alas !!  The sword was forcefully taken away by somebody.  To his amazement, Lord Krishna was standing in front of him.
Shanku, Chakra, Gadha, Vanamala, Kausthubam, Pattu Peethambaram, with the brightness of thousands of Adithyas together…
Jayadevar was shocked to see the Lord in front of him.  He forgot to worship Lord instead, he  started to complain about Padmavathy like a child.   He complained to Lord that  She had lied to him.  Lord Krishna replied Padmavathy did not lie and  explained to him that it was not his talent that made him write Ashtapadi.    The Lord also revealed the truth that he did complete the composition.
Lord Krishna explains to them that when He was a child, his  mother Yasoda packed the previous day's  cooked rice with curd and buttermilk before leaving home in order to take care of the cattle.  Everytime, he missed the opportunity to taste the food which she packed.  Because most of the time it was eaten by his friends.  Yasoda force her son to take oil bath by heating the oil with all the herbs.  He lost that opportunity too.  So He sincerely wanted to have these from the hands of Padmavathy after seeing her.  He felt his mother's attitude in Padmavathy.   Lord Krishna asked Jayadevar  ‘ Did I do any mistake?  I heartily wish to have oil bath and Thayir Sadam from her hand,  Did I make any crime?’.   Jayadevar cried  and in a sudden rush fell on the feet of  Padmavathy.

Jayadevar started mumbling to Padmavathy that she was the most blessed one on this Earth. Padmavathy had the opportunity to serve the Lord well and She had the heartfelt dharshan of Him.   She had all the blessings of Lord and Lord declared that Padamavathy was more superior than Jayadevar. Padmavathy’s utmost faith and devotion to Lord made  Jayadevar think that she was superior to him.  After seeing this devotion and respect of Jayadevar, Lord Krishna  replied that this was the same  case with Him and Radha.  Sri Radha Rani’s devotion and faith made Krishna fall in love with her, an unlimited and unconditional love towards Sri Radha.

Radhey Krishna !!

Ekadasi

Fasting on the auspicious days of Ekadashi should be followed with certain prescribed rules in the scriptures.  The sacred scriptures describe the results of overlapped Ekadashi Vrutham or observance of the same without following the rules prescribed in the sacred texts.   It also illustrates the commendable rewards by observing Ekadashi with utmost faith and devotion.

Brahma Puranam says:
Purvam Thwaya Sabharyena Dasami Shesa Samyutha
Kruta Cha Ekadashi Rajan Tasya Idham Karanam Matham

Maithreya speaks to King Dhrutharashtra, as an answer to his question about why his 100 sons were killed at the Krukshetra war.   Maithreya narrates; King Dhrutharashtra had the pain of separation from his children for the reason that overlapped Ekadashi fast.

Dasamey Ekadashim Purvam Samuposya Janardhana:
Abhyarchithas Thwaya Devi Thasyedha Karmana: Phalam

In the above verses Sage Valmiki describes to Devi Sita, the reason she had been impeled by Lord Rama from his Kingdom Ayodha to the woodland while she was pregnant with Lava and Kusha.

Gangodhakasya Sampurnam Yatha Thyajyam Ghatam Bhaveth
Suravindhu Samyuktham Tat Sarvam Madyatham Vrajeth

A cup of holy water of river Ganges which has been mixed with a drop of wine is not fit for consumption, just like the overlapped Eakadashi fast.

Garuda Puranam says:
Viddham Ekadashim Vipras Thyajanthey Yetham Manishina:
Thasyam Upositho Yathi Daridryam Dukham Yeva Cha

The end result of not following the Ekadashi Vrutham according to the prescribed rule results in Poverty and Misery.

Dwaparanthe Tu Gandhari Kuru Vansa Vivardhini
Karishyathi Cha Senani Mudha Bhavad Sikhi-Dhwaja
Thena Putra Satham Tasya Nasam Ishyathy Asamsayam
Dasamy Ekadashi Yatra Thatra Sannihitho Sura:
Dwadasy Ekadashi Yatra Thatra Sannihitho Hari:

In Dwapara Yuga, Gandhari who was the mother of 100 sons had to witness the death of her 100 sons and suffered the severe pain of separation.  The above verses describe the importance of observance of fast on Dashami and Ekadashi also the presence of Sura.  Further more describes the presence of Lord Sriman Narayana on Ekadashi and Dwadashi days.

Kurma Puranam says:
Ekadasyam Uposyaiva Dwadasyam Paranam Smrtham
Trayodasyam Na Tat Kuryad Dwadasa Dwadasi-kshayath

One should observe complete fast on the Ekadashi day and break his/her fast  (Paranam) on Dwadashi day at the prescribed time, should not break fast on Tryodashi day or unprescribed time.

Skandhapuranam says:

Jagare Padmanabhasya Puranam Padathe Tu Ya:
Janma Koti Sukrutham Papam Dahathe Thularasi Vath

Whoever worships Lord Hari – The Supreme Lord and recite Puranas and sacred scriptures would acquire the meritorious rewards, all their sins would burn into ashes like a cotton ball in the fire.

all masters of our mouth

Once upon a time an old man spread rumors that his neighbor was a thief.
As a result, the young man was arrested.
Days later the young man was proven innocent.
After been released he sued the old man for wrongly accusing him.

In court the old man told the Judge: 'They were just comments, didn't harm anyone..'

The judge, before passing sentence on the case, told the old man:
'Write all the things you said about him on a piece of paper.
Cut them up and on the way home, throw the pieces of paper out.
Tomorrow, come back to hear the sentence.'

The next day, the judge told the old man: 'Before receiving the sentence,
you will have to go out and gather all the pieces of paper that you threw out yesterday.'

The old man said: 'I can't do that! The wind spread them and

I won't know where to find them.'

The judge then replied: 'The same way, simple comments may destroy
the honor of a man to such an extent that one is not able to fix  it.
"If you can't speak well of someone, rather don't say anything"

'Let's all be masters of our mouths, so that we won't be slaves of our words.'

God and Existenance

Not real but exists
How often we discuss ...this -God doesn't kill anyone...and his existenance..
God is real. how are you alive right now? certainly not by evolution
as a person who's spent a lot of time thinking about this. your belief is based on assumptions, and false ones at that.

You see, a church is like a club for christians to gather. they pick a head representative (the pastor) to research the bible and educate them on what they think is right. but sometimes the head representative is influenced by an unknown/invisible evil (Satan) and thats how god's image becomes, in your words, non-loving.

if you don't believe in God, that's your prerogative, but make sure you actually understand what you're believing before you go proclaiming it everywhere.
Life iss..
a great proof that god exists..give it a try……
if you don’t believe who cares ?
the one thing we all can do is   lets face it…..

friends...

Friends and relatives the way it is in the current situation. Actually, I'm reminded of a funny quote. Someone said, “Success is relative, because the more success you have, the more number of relatives you will have.”
It is the same with friends too. If you're famous or rich or powerful, suddenly, you'll see yourself surrounded by friends. Swami says, “As long as your pocket is deep, you'll find any number of friends, but once the wind stops blowing in your direction, everyone disappears.” In fact, in today's times, the problem has become even more acute and complex. Because of social networking sites, chat groups, and so on, we make friends easily. In fact, youngsters compete with each other to have more number of online friends. I think somewhere in this whole process, the concept of friendship has become so diluted and shallow.
If we ask any of these youngsters, “From your hundreds of online buddies, can you at least pick one or two who are truly genuine and selfless friends?” Probably, he or she will say, “Hmm... I have to think...”
Here, I'm tempted to share a story about friendship that we posted on our website sometime ago. It is the story of eight-year-old Tejaswi who refuses to eat salad. Her mother tries her best and finally gives up. Then she requests her husband to take over. Surendra, the husband, is successful in convincing the daughter to have the salad, but it comes with a condition.
Tejaswi wants a promise from the father that she will get what she wants if she finishes the full bowl of salad. The father says, “Yes, I promise you whatever you ask for. But, don't ask for very expensive gadgets. I don't have that much money.”
She says, “It's a very simple thing, father. You only have to permit me.”
So, the father says yes. She completes the bowl of salad.  And then, he asks, “Okay, tell me, what is your wish?”
She says, “Father, I want to shave my head.”
So both the parents are completely perplexed. The father says, “It's such a preposterous idea. You're a girl. Why do you want to lose your hair? We can't do this.”
She says, “Father, you promised me. Do you want to go back on your word?”
Left with no choice, father says, “Okay, we will go to the salon and get your wish fulfilled.”
On Monday morning, the father as usual drops Tejaswi in the school. When she gets down the car, at the same time another boy alights from a vehicle and calls out to Tejaswi. Both are so happy to see each other and they walk into the school, hand in hand.
The only interesting thing is that both have shaven heads. Just then, the mother of that boy Girish comes to Surendra and says, “You have an angel for a daughter. My son has leukaemia and because of the chemotherapy, he lost all his hair. He was feeling so depressed and thought that if he comes to school, everyone will tease him. That's why he stopped classes. But your daughter came to our house and convinced my son to come to school. She even said, ‘I will take care of this teasing problem’ and that is why she took that decision to sacrifice her hair.” It is said the happiest people in this world are not those who live on their own terms, but those who change their terms for the ones they love. I think that is true selfless friendship.

gopikas epitomise

One day, Krishna was seated in Mathura in his kingdom, and suddenly He acted as if he had a headache.
Narada then comes by and seeing his Lord in that pitiable condition, immediately wants to relieve Him of the pain. So he asks, “Lord, what should we do? Have they not provided you with some kind of ointment?” The Lord says, “See, this kind of headache will not go away by such medicines; what I need is the dust of the feet of My devotees.”

Narada says he isn't willing to give the dust from his own feet to be put on the Lord's head because he's sure he'll be sent to hell if he does that. So he thinks of a plan and advises Krishna that He should seek the dust of His consorts, Rukmini and Sathyabhama.
Accordingly Narada approaches them and the obvious question they ask is, “Why are you not giving the dust of your feet?” And Narada expresses his fears. Immediately, they resound the same anxiety and say, “Even we will be condemned to hell if we do that. We cannot do this. It's impossible.”
Disappointed, Narada returns to the Lord and says, “Krishna, I don't think this headache of Yours is ever going to be relieved.” Then Krishna says, “No, no! You go to Brindavan. My true devotees are there. You ask them, they will give you.”
Narada is quite perplexed because he thinks, “The most intelligent and intellectual of them are right here in Mathura, and they are not ready to give the dust of their feet. What will those cowherds know? Anyway, I'll give it a try because my Lord has commanded me to.”
He therefore goes to Brindavan, calls the Gopikas and says, “Krishna is suffering from a headache and he wants the dust of your feet to cure it.” Immediately, the Gopikas bring a huge cloth and all of them jump on top of it, bundle it up, and give it to Narada without asking any more questions. Narada is perplexed. He asks them, “Are you not scared that you'll be shunned to hell for doing this blasphemous act?”

krishna krishna..

A very humorous anecdote
a newly married couple they were taking a stroll in a garden. As the wife walks, a thorn pricks her leg and she cries out. The husband with tears in his eyes holds the leg and lovingly pulls the thorn out. Then, he endearingly asks her to be careful while walking Six months later, once again they are going for a walk and unfortunately a thorn pricks her feet again. The husband now is a little irritated. He waits until she pulls out the thorn herself and then giving her a frown, continues moving forward.
Another six months pass by. The husband and wife still had not given up the habit of taking a stroll. Again, the wife is hurt in the same manner. This time, the husband is furious. He shouts, “You blind lady, can't you see? Don't you have eyes? Get rid of the thorn and come fast.” Well, what happened to all that love and affection which existed just a year and a half ago?”
“This is the nature of anuraga, which is the Karma aspect of Prema, that is, the binding aspect of love. While true love liberates, anuraga binds. True love is pure, whereas anuraga is impure. True love is all-pervasive, whereas anuraga is limited and confined.” that is blog anuragamaya says something difft topics !!
“True love is like the rose flower, whereas anuraga is like the thorn, comparable to lust.”
“The real challenge in life is how you pluck the flower of love without getting pricked by the thorn of lust.”
Anuraga can be transformed into true love….One of the main limitations of anuraga is that it has a quality of possessiveness, where one tries to possess the other and assume ownership only because he or she is scared of losing the other person. This obviously is suffocating for the other person, as it takes away the most important gift of life - freedom. Freedom is dear to everyone and the moment anyone comes in its way, that person starts withdrawing immediately, which leads to a lot of heartburn and unnecessary pain.
I would like to remind u here one of best aspect If one holds sand on his two open palms, he can very well retain the grains. But the moment his open palms start clenching to possess the sand, he sees the dust particles slipping out.
The same applies in our lives. The moment you invade the freedom of the other person and try to control them, they go away from you. But the moment you give them the space, so that they can be what they want to be, they come back to you. Just like the butterfly that flies away if you try to catch it, but comes back and sits right on your shoulder if you remain in one place. We need to stop this mad chase of possession.
So, none of this love really gives us that sense of fulfilment. To put it crisply, the body attracts, the intellect admires, but it is only the soul which connects.
Giving a very contemporary example of the server and clients, u know that all the clients are connected to the server, whereas the other workstations are like various terminals. A client can very easily interact with another client, but it is really not linked or related to it, but both of them are definitely related to the server. thus today conclude the topic of luv related in difft forms..as...this.. way, love, though it may be between a husband and wife, or between two individuals, or between an individual and an object, it is ultimately sourced from that one cosmic source of love,So called divine of luv..!!
there is a beautiful story which tells one is attached and other tells about detachment....A couple are on a pilgrimage and are in the mood of worshipping God in a very spiritual ambience. On a walk along the beach, the husband notices a golden bangle on the sand. Thinking that nothing should deter the spiritual thoughts of his wife or make her mind waver, he pushes some sand on top of the bangle as if to hide it. The wife notices this and laughs out loud. When the husband asks her for the reason, she replies, “Oh! Do you still see a difference between sand and gold?” So one never knows what real detachment is; it’s something that has to come from within.
but wat about mother and child! who will can convenience the mother who was made to forget her child ..adisankara was also unbale to leave his attachemnt wen his mother was to leave this heavenly earth! but i read somewhere in some article which said nothing is absolutely attached to us!!It is just like holding water in our hand as long as possible time the more try to hold it , just flows away...it is just holds us here ..we run after for the things get the things for our life style which we call the success grt success in achieving in our life time!the more run after something ...the more object or person eludes runs away frm us! but wen detached it comes running towards us!! funny detachemnt and attachment ...

hari om..

It’s so beautiful to hear all these different concepts and stories; they are overwhelming too. I was reminded of another outstanding example of what a mother’s love is. In fact, it took three yugas, for the Avatar to come back and give us the real meaning; I am talking about the love of Mother Kaikeyi. Here was a mother who sacrificed her name, fame and her most loved entity - Rama Himself. We think that Kaikeyi asked Rama to go to the forest, but Swami says that in fact, it was Rama Himself who had told Kaikeyi a few weeks earlier, “Mother, if you love Me... and I know you love Me the most… help Me to carry out My divine mission. And for this you have to take on the ignominy for the rest of your life. Are you ready to do this?” And she simply said, “Yes, I will.” no parent today ever names their child after Kaikeyi. Very true
if God is like a divine magnet which separates itself into smaller magnets; love is this magnetic force which brings back and unites everything together. The ultimate union....

read onn...

It is the story of a mother’s sacrifice during the earthquake that robbed the Sichuan province of China in May 2008.
After the earthquake had subsided the rescuers reached the ruins of a young woman's house and through the cracks they saw a dead body. But they noticed that there was something strange in her posture – she was crouched as if she was praying and her two hands seemed to be supporting some object. The collapsed house had crashed on her back and her head. So the leader of this team put his hand through the cracks and touched her body; it was cold and still. Obviously she was no more. The rescuers started to move on but the leader driven by sixth sense suddenly paused. Something told him to go back to that woman. And now he put his hand through the narrow cracks to search the little space under the dead body. And then suddenly he screamed with excitement, “There is a child; there is a child!”
The child I guess was alive…
Yes, it was alive! The mother had protected the child so well that the little one was blissfully asleep
That’s really touching!
In fact the story goes that there was also a message in a cellphone that was found there which read, “Baby! If you survive, you must remember that I love you.”
Well, I do not know if that part of it is true, nevertheless that definitely is the unspoken message of that amazing mother. Now, imagine multiplying this sacrifice an unimaginable million times and what you probably get is a glimpse of love that is absolutely deep and tremendously touching – that is Divine Love.

endeavour to bend the body mend the senses and end the mind

Lord Krishna, in His childhood days, broke the mud pots where butter was stored. The inner meaning is that Lord Krishna broke the material casement and liberated them from their temporary attachments. He then appropriated to Himself what always belonged to Him - the butter of faith. This butter is the result of the churning of the mind, the spiritual discipline of self-purification. The deha-thathwa (the feeling, “I am the body”), must go and transform into dehi-thathwa (the belief, “I am embodied”). Take a small quantity of sea water and keep it separate in a bottle; it will develop a foul smell in a few days. As long as the water remains in the sea, nothing will happen to it. Be in the sea (of Divinity), as a part of it. Do not separate and individualize yourself. Never isolate yourself as the body (deha), separate from the Indweller (Dehi). So long as you are in the Divine Consciousness, no pain, grief, egoism or pride can tarnish you..

to be remebered

Fact it’s known but forgot in busy life…

On the happenings of the past, we have no control. Accept them as the will of God. Sometimes even a bad happening turns out to be a good in the long run.
Only the present is in our hands and under our control  Try to make the best use of opportunities. Never act in haste and never react without thought.
On the future you have no direct control because several factors come into play to decide the course of events- you are just one of those factors. So do not worry too much about future, have faith in God. You should do right things at the right time with honesty and integrity.

Problems of Social status
It is human nature to expect some recognition of one’s position and status in the society. One’s status and position is very often a matter of pride.
Sometimes one’s religion, caste, community race, color of skin and language may also become matter of anxiety and result in either superiority or inferiority complex.

As i think

Level of Ideal way…..

In each of us , a double personality playing at all times; one, a personality which we believe in and another with which we act out. Roughly we can attribute the former to our intellectual entity and the latter to our physical person. Educated as we are , as a product of our study, appreciation and admiration of some of the perfect qualities, both moral and ethical, in other great souls, we have vague picture of the ideal that we wish to be . This picture of the ideal, when entertained for  along in ourselves, becomes so clearly impressed in ourselves that we come to believe that we are the ideal that we cherish. But alas! Others suffer and groan under the persecutions of what we actually are in our life.
Our Self –unfoldment, our growth in ourselves our personality charm can burst forth in all its fragrance and joy into full bloom only when we plan for and bring about an actual translation of our idealism into our day-to-day life. We must live what we believe in. we must act upon our own cherished ideas, we must strive to live our accepted philosophy of life. Or else, though a devotee we will run amuck to carry away our Sita, there by inviting not only our own destruction but host of sorrows to a million others around us.
As seekers and sincere aspirants to a higher cultural life all must learn to translate your ideal picture of our self in our own work a –day life. This only possible through regular and sincere self examination and long careful introspection. Each day see the drama of your days ‘ life thrown upon the screen of your own mind and watch. Edit the play; take new decisions; discover the faults; avoid them in your next 24-hours’ life. Thus one by one, weed out your weaknesses in your physical contains and dealings, in your mental feelings and emotions, and in your intellectual estimation of things and beings.
Thus what you estimate yourself to be and what others judge you, from your actions, are poles apart from each other. Your so called estimate of yourself is but your intellectual belief in some ideal picture of yourself; but in your dealing with the world outside you are acting just the opposite and the only one who is totally unconscious of the ugliness is yourself.
Unfortunately, what you think yourself to be you are not that !A problem is never solved by succumbing ourselves to it. In fact problems grow, flattened and nourished by the number of victims that come nnder its onslaught. This is equally true both in the communal life as well as individual life. A man who compromises within in dire attitude of escapism is a man noted for utter failures all through his life.
Therefore one must learn the art of facing the upheavals in one’s own individual life. It cannot be just quietened by added physical comforts or by showing more and more love and sympathy towards the restless…..it has to be solved by remedies applicable to that level alone.

A Decade

“……Dear reader

…………….It seems to me that the great thing is to follow one Guru and one path unswervingly and the goal is assured. But we become disheartened and impatient. These seem to be the two greatest obstacles to attainment. These seem to be the two greatest obstacles to attainment. If we can only face up to these and go on in spite of everything and everybody then there is absolutely no doubt as to the result. But how few of us can! May the supreme Guru give us the necessary strength! ...

Very  beloved
Radha

Glory to the superior guru who can inspire such love and devotion in men /women of this calibre.”

Reflection

 Reflection

A divine Man will come and show us who we are.
There is a story told by Ramakrishna Paramahamsa:

A pregnant lioness once pounced on a gang of sheep passing through a forest. In the speed with which it attacked, it gave birth to a cub and then died. The cub lived in the midst of the sheep without knowing who it was, eating grass and bleating like sheep. One day a lion came and saw this. It got the cub separated from the sheep and showed it, its reflection in the water. The cub came to know that it belonged to the race of lions and not sheep. From that time onwards, it started living like a lion.

Similarly we are living in the midst of many varieties of people in this world.
Lord Krishna will show us at the appropriate time the purpose for which we have come into this world and what our work is.
The only thing is that we must have complete and unshakable faith in our father at all times.
The rest Or Father Lord Krishna will take care.

When a Chola king attacked a Pandya king with a huge, invincible army, the Pandya king prayed to lord Somasundareshwara of Madhurai. He had  that much faith in the Lord. Then Lord Somasundareshwara took form of a rider sitting on a horse and, as a single person, defeated the whole Chola army. In Ramayana single person , Lord Sri Rama defeated the army of Khara and Dhooshana. The Lord is invisible. He can appear in any form. As he likes. But the people of the modern world may not believe this. As we all now know the lord will appear as a rider on a horse and save the nation , Do youngster of today will believe it..????!!!

Path

In olden days all our ancestors used to protect the realized souls and paid respect to them. At times they used to do just arguments('Vadha' or destruction)
If one power rises in the world at any time the others will lose their importance when another power comes to a higher position the other will lose its importance

The Great Father: The Lord Krishna says...
"Parithranaya sadhoonaam Vinaasaaya cha Dushkritaam Dharma Samstaapaanaarthaya Sambhavami yuge yuge "

To protect the great souls who are always engaged in propagating Dharma and destroy the bad elements to keep up Dharma all over the Universe. The Father (Lord) came in every yuga to tell us the truth without Great Souls on this heavenly Earth there will be no humanity. Without Vedas,  manthras there will be no humanity. It exists only Because only because of great souls and the vedas on this Earth ...

The Spiritual Path which great souls took part and made us to dip into it ...We cannot judge the sea by seeing the outward appearance of the waves. Similarly you cannot judge things by the outward appearance of them. In the heart of common people like us, we got to see the depth of the sea. Great souls left the place for us and path will lead us  ....

If we plant a tree and water it we should wait for the fruits to come at the appropriate time. Just because of our pouring water we cannot get the fruits immediately. We should wait for the proper time…

God should be the Goal of life. We need money and other comforts but that shuld not be the goal of life. If the aim of life is clear , guidance and the PATH will definitely lead us and it will come to us one day…

Divine Blessings

My  Friends,
This I learnt at the feet of many devotees ..
the Divine Name of Lord Krishna,

Whatever we do where ever we are,
Just like maruthi to Lord Rama ,arjuna to lord Krishna
Thinking of lord Krishna and to do our actions in this world.

At every stage we face problems-today one problem , tomorrow another day after yet another and on of facing these problems, often dejected, disappointed and psychologically sick .

if we don’t remember !! never forget the divine name to chant, if we are psychologically sound and are remembering the divine name, may be, we may feel a little of some of the problems. Even then the intensity with which we feel it if we don’t have faith in god is much more than that of a man of faith- whatever the form we choose just faith on divinity is important for us to get along with daily life.
