matsya kamala lochanam

“The Lord dived into the ocean in the form of a fish searched with His lotus eyes, rapidly viewing on all directions creating an illusion of lotus flowers blossoming everywhere - all in search of the Vedas that had been stolen by an Asura. The ebb and flow of the waves of the Ocean seemed to be a swinging cradle that soothed and almost lulled Him into a comfortable reve...rie...
As fish is believed to nourish its little ones by its sheer glance and therefore, known never to bat its eyelids - the MATSYA Lord would save His devotees by his mere glance. The dirt that gets accumulated in beings who
languish in the ocean of SAMSARA - is cleansed by MATSYA Lord’s very glance he Lord moved so fast, His eyes directed in all directions so swiftly that the underwater seemed to be all lotus flowers.

"when u get over to the mountain, you have got to climb..much effort will b required..the sooneer u strt to climb the sooner u reach the other side..life is struggle got to conquer each stage. each day is new day.....make it bful page"
" bhakti bliss...the Vedas say to stop procrastinating. Don’t say you will do it tomorrow, and don’t say you will even do it today. Do it now right now! Do it immediately. You may trust all else, but don’t trust this human body. Even God realised Saints must leave this world. Jagadguru Shankaracharya died when he was 32 years old. Gauranga Mahaprabhu left when he was 48 years old. Even they left af...ter the determined time for their descension was over.

This world is like an inn. In an inn, everyone stays in separate rooms. A person stays there for four days, for ten days, for one day, some for just two hours! When his time is up, he leaves.

When you travel on a train, there are 50 stations on that line. When a person’s station comes, he gets down from the train. If you were to say to someone, “Oh, why are you going? I will be left alone!” “But my station has come. I must get down. If you wish, then come with me.” “Oh, no. My station is still quite far from here.”

When a son dies before his father, the father thinks, “What injustice!” This is not injustice. It is God’s law that you can’t stay any longer than the time allotted for this birth. When that time comes, you must go, and no one knows when that will come.

Even so, when this same father lights the funeral pyre for his own son, he loses all awareness and thinks, “I’m not going to die soon.” Stop this kind of thinking, otherwise whatever has happened in the past will keep on happening.
To receive a human birth is very rare. Even if you receive this, finding someone to guide you on the right path is very rare. If you were to find a true spiritual guide, then what grace is left for you to attain? The only grace left to attain is your own. But we say, “I’ll start tomorrow.”Do not say, “Tomorrow I will start practicing devotion.” Don’t say this and don’t think this. Who knows if you will live to see tomorrow? You could go to sleep tonight and if your time is up, in the morning you will be no more. We see this kind of thing happening every day. it will be too late to do anything.“In the twinkling of an eye, a person’s life could come to an end. Why then are you postponing for the future? What power do you possess that you are so proud of that you will be able to stop death?”so start hare krishna maha manthra now... -radhekrishna..........krishna guruvayurpuresha.....

" There are three conditions that a practitioner of the path of bhakti must fulfill. He should be more humble than a blade of grace. (When we walk on grass, it simply bows under the pressure of our feet with no resistance.) We should be as tolerant as a tree (which without complaint allows itself to be plundered for its fruits, leaves and branches). We should offer only respect to others and never e...xpect the same for ourselves.

To try to be called good or to be seen as good in the eyes of others makes us fall in our devotion. We should instead try to actually become good. For example, when someone criticises you, you feel bad. You become angry with that person and feel he is your foe. You continuously think of him with animosity. We harm ourselves greatly when we do this.

Instead of bringing God and Guru into our mind, we have given a place in our mind to a mayic soul. By doing so we are simply increasing the impurity of the mind, not decreasing it.

"As long as your desire is to attain Krishna., then just try your best in the world, and take whatever comes as His prasad"

" one thing about the world: no one can do anything for the happiness of another. Everyone loves for the sake of their own happiness. Whatever things you want – whether it’s a nice house, a wife, children, this or that – why do you want them? For happiness. So you will get happiness. But when all these things are made of Maya and within Maya and happiness is not in the mayic realm, how will you get ...happiness from them?

A blind person announces, “Oh anyone who is blind! Come here! Take my hand!” Another blind person hears this and thinks, “He definitely can see.” So he takes his hand. This same kind of acting is happening in our world. We want happiness from our mother, our mother wants it from us. We want happiness from our children, our children want happiness from us. This is a bond of selfishness. As long as our self-interest is being served by that mother, father, wife, husband, and child, our love lasts. If our self-interest is being served less, our love reduces. If our self-interest is not being served at all, our love ends. This is a simple account of our selfishness.
"
" It is the eternally existing path to attain God. God is one, so the path of His attainment is also one, and thus, the same path of bhakti ensures the attainment of any of the forms of God.

The path of bhakti is prevalent in every brahmand of this entire universe and it is for all the souls of this universe. It remains the same in all the four yugas (satyug, treta, dwapar and kaliyug) and, as it ...
is directly related to soul and God, it is above caste, creed, sect and nationality. It can be adopted by any person of any nation of this world, because it is gifted by the supreme God Himself for the benefit of the humankind; and again, there are no physical requirements in doing bhakti.

There are no meditation postures to adopt, no concentration techniques to follow and no rituals to observe. So it can be done by anyone, young, old or sick, and at any time in twenty-four hours, because bhakti is the pure love of your heart that longs to meet the Divine beloved of your soul in this very lifetime.

a story came across

small but touching story with a deep message.
A ticket collector in a train found an old worn out wallet in a compartment full of many people.
He looked inside to find the name of its owner. There was no clue.
All that there was in it, was some money and a picture of Bhagwan Sri Krishna.
He held it up and asked, 'Who does this wallet belong to?'
...
An old man said, 'That's my wallet, please give it to me.' The ticket
collector said, 'You'll have to prove that it is yours. Only then I can hand it over to you.'
The old man smiled a toothless smile and said. 'It has a picture of Sri Krishna in it.'
The ticket collector said, 'That is no proof; anyone can have a picture of Sri Krishna in his wallet.
What is special about that? Why is your picture not there in it?'

The old man took a deep breath and said, 'Let me tell you why my
picture is not there in it. My father gave this wallet to me when I was in school.
I used to get a small sum as pocket money then. I had kept a picture of my parents in it.

When I was a teenager I was greatly enamoured by my good looks.
I removed my parent's picture and put in, one of my own. I loved to see my own face and my thick black hair.
Some years later, I got married.
My wife was very beautiful and I loved her a lot. I replaced my own picture in this wallet with a picture of her.
I spent hours gazing at her pretty face.

When my first child was born, my life started a new chapter.
I shortened my working hours, to play with my baby.
I went late to work and returned home early too. Obviously, my baby's picture occupied the prized position in my wallet.'

The old man's eyes brimmed with tears as he went on.. 'My parents passed away many years ago.
Last year my wife too left her mortal coil. My son, my only son is too busy with his family.
He has no time to look after me. All that I had ever held close to my heart is far, far away from my reach now.

Now I have put this picture of Bhagwan Sri Krishna in my wallet.
It is only now that I have realized that He is the eternal companion.
He will never leave me. Alas! If only I had realized this before.
If only I had loved the Lord Krishna all these years, with the same intensity as I loved my family,
I would not have been so lonely today!'

The collector quietly gave the wallet to the old man. When the train
stopped at the next station, the ticket collector went to the book stall at the platform and asked the salesman,
'Please give me a small picture of Sri Krishna ? I need one to put in my wallet!'

The Question we need to ask is where is Bhagwan Sri Krishna in our lives today?
Think of it because it could make a difference to your life today and in the days to come
