GOOD MONEY BAD MONEY

GOOD MONEY , BAD MONEY

One day a rich merchant came to a swami's hut with a big silver tray piled with gold coins and other wealth. swami, knowing the man made his money in wrongful ways, kicked the tray on the ground and sent him away without accepting it. Yes, there is such a thing as good and bad money, because after all, money is energy.

Why is money energy?
Money gives energy. Money is power. Money is a form of prana, captured in paper, in silver and most importantly in gold.
Actually, gold is the real money, the basis of all paper money, coinage, checks and bank drafts. All the money in the world once fluctuated in value according to the price of gold. Mystically, if you have gold in your home or your corporation--I mean real gold--your real wealth will increase according to the quantity of gold that you have.

Good money is righteous money, funds derived from a righteous source, earned by helping people, not hurting people, serving people, not cheating them, making people happy, fulfilling their needs. This is righteous money. Righteous money does good things. When spent or invested, it yields right results that are long lasting and will always give fruit and many seeds to grow with its interest and dividends from the capital gains. On the contrary, bad money does bad things--money earned through selling arms or drugs, taking bribes, manipulating divorces, performing abortions, fraud, theft, riches gained through a hundred dark and devious ways. Bad money issues from a bad intent which precedes a wrongdoing for greed or profit. That is bad money. When spent or invested, it can be expected to bring unexpected negative consequences.

Good money is suitable for building temples and other institutions that do good for people. Bad money is sometimes gifted to build temples, any festive seasons donating or performing something  or other social institutions, but often only to ease the conscience of the person who committed sins to gain the money. Nothing good will come of it. The institution will fail. The temple will be a museum, its darshana nil. Its shakti, though expected to be present, will be nonexistent. Bad money provokes bad acts which are long lasting, and it sours good acts within a short span of time in the lives of the people who receive it. I have read in old aithihasik books during my education near our school ,we had big library we used to go and get some books and daily digest and spiritual books getting little  knowledge   out of it...those who books i remember have sought opinion on this matter. It says, "Siva's devotees, knowing that bad money is cursed and can never do good deeds, refuse funds gained by fraud, bribery, theft, dealing arms or drugs, profiting from abortion or divorce, and all dark, devious means." Some postulate that using bad money for good purposes purifies it. That is a very unknowledgeable and improper concept, because prana, which is money, cannot be transformed so frivolously. Many among this group of misguided or naive individuals have lived to witness their own destruction through the use of tainted wealth. Also, this brings them into the illegality of laundering money. Money cannot be laundered by religious institutions. Money cannot be legally laundered by banks. Money cannot be laundered by individuals. Further, we know that those who give ill-gotten money to a religious institution will subtly but aggressively seek to infiltrate, dilute and eventually control the entire facility, including the swami, his monastic staff, members and students. If bad money is routinely accepted in abundance and depended upon, it will bring an avalanche of adharma leading to the dissolution of the fellowships that have succumbed, after which a new cycle would have to begin, of building back their fundamental policies to dharma once again.

HARI OM TAT-SAT

Aum

Ultimately, there is no good or bad. God did not create evil as a force distinct from good. He granted to souls the loving edicts of dharma and experiential choices from very subtle to most crude, thus to learn and evolve. Aum.
When through meditation, we view the universe from the inside out, we see that there is not one thing out of place or wrong. This releases the human concepts of right and wrong, good and bad. Our benevolent Lord created everything in perfect balance. Good or evil, kindness or hurtfulness return to us as the result, the fruit, of our own actions of the past. The four dharmas are God's wisdom lighting our path. That which is known as evil arises from the instinctive-intellectual nature, which the Lord created as dimensions of experience to strengthen our soul and further its spiritual evolution. Let us be compassionate, for truly there is no intrinsic evil. The Vedas admonish, "Being overcome by the fruits of his action, he enters a good or an evil womb, so that his course is downward or upward, and he wanders around, overcome by the pairs of opposites." Aum Namah Sivaya.

BG-9/30-31

In Bh.Gita Ch.9 30-31 above,  this is the way bhagavan orders, so where is the place for a adhama bhaktan, he is Prakrutha Prarambhaha! at the starting point. This bhaktan prays in a materialistic way, oh bhagawan! I need a job, if I do get a job I will perform an udayastamana Pooja. The bhagawan thinks,'What a pity, only by him getting a job a udayastamana pooja will happen'. Even then God is happy that he atleast came here. Not going to someone else and begging him for a job, and that other person himself being without a job and looking for someone to use as help and this man instead of going there, atleast he has come here to guruvayur. He atleast got this job, coming to my sannidhi and praying by itself is a good job. Coming to the bhagawan and putting in an application itself is a job. Bhagavan therefore welcomes with open arms the arthAathmikana bhakthar as well as the Aartha bhakthar. But the prema Bhakthar is considered separate there is no doubt about that. That prema bhakthi has to come up step by step only. Prema bhaktha is superior and bhagavan on seeing the prema bhakthar feels very happy. Such a prema bhakthi is what bhattadri is expecting for himself, he needs to get cured as well, why an Aartha bhakthi...

krishna guruvayurappa

a namasmaran everyday morning in the sannidhanam of the bhagavan UTTARAGURUVAYURAPPAN TEMPLE MAYURVIHAR-1 DELHI - NARAYANA SHARAS as its termed, to be drenched in the sharas early morning, bhakthas await here in the early hours of the morning for krishna darsanam is a great sight by itself in temple... All these people say "Narayana, Narayana, Narayana, Narayana"....awaiting all early morning after chandanam and flower all taken out…there the temple echoes Uthishto Uthishta Govinda uthishta garudadhwaja Uthishta kamala kantha thrilokyam mangalam kuru....,people await the wakening of the bhagawan chanting "Narayana, Narayana" in their mind . When the door is opened, now the people who have been saying "Narayana Narayana" so far in their minds rush into main shrines entrance one after the other side by side  and start their parikramas in their own way and out prakarams of temple during then the lords nirmalya darshanam the gods oil bath and then followed by elanir abhishekam starts so far who were standing and getting glance of this will now suddenly exclaim Narayana narayana narayana …..and tehn lastly bow their heads towards god saying loudly "Krishna! Guruvayurappa!", "Krishna! Guruvayurappa!", Krishna! Krishna!. Why, more than a lakh praNavam is Narayana namam, more than a lakh Narayana namam is Krishna Guruvayurappa, Why, due to the love. If Narayana is said, there is fear and respect for the bhagawan's immense power as also because it is perumal, bhagavan, whereas the love for little kutti krishna, its our unnikrishnan, guruvayoorappan, we could rush and hug the bhagawan as the swaroopam is. We would not feel like saying "namo namaha narayana" then. We would like to parmalinganam krishna, hug and lift him up, such would be a desire then and therefore when they say Krishna Guruvayurappa, the upanishad's Om praNavam is being said to the prabhramham. Saying Narayana is told in the puranams, the same bhakthas say "Krishna Guruvayurappa" here at uttaragurvayurappan temple  as same in Guruvayur…hopefully in all Krishna kshetrams

Even then the correct address for Sri Krishna is "Krishna Guruvayurappa". Other addressing forms are there - Gokula Nandana, Dwaraka Deesha, Brindavana Vihari but the correct address is Krishna Guruvayurappa, the reason arose from this question, Did Sri Krishna become Guruvayurappa or Guruvayurappa is Sri Krishna?

oh my god movie....view OMG!!!

I haven't watched the movie yet but after reading the story in wikipedia,i think this movie is NOT against God but against those religious gurus and so called saints who actually fool people in the name of God.In short,we call such people Dhongi babas who loot people's money in the name of poojas and religious activities. Some of these people even corrupt peoples minds against people belonging to other religions and create hatred amongst them for their own benefits.I have read in many newspapers about these babas even raping women.
There is increase in the number of these dhongi babas nowadays.
This film gives this message that one should not believe in such dhongi babas and one can find God through bhakti and good deeds and not by serving such frauds...
the unique and simplified representation of how God does his work - how he hears all our prayers, how he answers them in whichever way is best for us.......and  It made me wonder what would happen or how would God feel after spending a day on this earth...not that he isn't aware of what is happening..
the looks of it, the movie is showing what is happening now-a-days with everyone following others blindly instead of thinking and understanding for themselves and following their hearts. Everyone is living life in the fast lane, wanting a shortcut for everything even when it comes to worshipping God!
Today people are more into following "religion" instead of "dharma"...

SECOND POINT OF MINE ...One very valid point I found is that many people 'fear' God as if He will punish if you don't do something. Akshay Kumar says that God is not someone to 'fear' but someone who's like your friend - who shows you the right path.

Now suppose someone is in the habit of lighting a diya everyday...if they forget to do it, they get scared if God would punish them...but this movie says that God doesn't want us to light a diya and waste oil.

It is a valid point, but still ALL continue to light the diya because if gives everyone peace of mind. But v must admit...that if V forget to light the diya some day because we were pre occupied  won't get scared that God will punish us for it...v v'll just say 'sorry' in our mind and I am sure HE will accept it. At least this movie has taught

THE LAST POINT..... The concept this movie has put forward makes sense to a large extent-its not like its insulting the rituals people follows,it just questions if all the stuff that we do to please God-does it REALLY put us on the path that God wants us to follow??

Rituals and Customs act as a medium for us to reach out to God and feel his presence...
eg chanting of a Mantra helps but it had to be done with utmost faith
similarly perfoming a Pooja should be done in a similar fashion

But the most important way to really Reach out to God is to love Him and Love everything and everyone he has made
sadly Rituals have gained prominence today and people forget the very basic concept of Dharma and Shraddha, without which any ritual performed is baseless and useless...

Regarding Gods -i come from a family where the Swami system is followed rabidly,he is worshiped above God as well, and has very effectively managed to woo all my relatives from following Dharma to making them serve him as thier primary objective in life-it disgusts me,but i wont get into the details,im sure if i do many of youll will be left disgusted!

i have seen things like this closely and it hurts me and saddens me!
my Mom always USED tell me that God doesnt expect too much from us,he just wants us to be Good People, and with that everything else will follow
he never will hurt those who are Good and follow the path of Dharma

God to me is my best friend,i talk to him and ask for nothing(atleast for myself) because i know that he will manage everything for me
if im unable to keep a vrat i say sorry rather than being scared because i know he will understand
God gave me some really bad days when i was younger, but then he made me fight back and become a stronger and better person today!I will always be greatful for that!

Bottom Line-what OMG teaches you is that God doesnt expect too much form us and neither does he expects us to fear him,he just wants us to be good people and look after the world he made in a way that he looks after us!

story of harihara

Annamaacharya, the great Vaak-geya-kaaraka of Aandhra Pradesh, in one of his divya sankeertana "Enta maatramuna evvaru talichina '." says:

How much ever one imagines that much only are You:
For Vaishnavas You are Vishnu
For Vedaantas You are Parabrahma
For Shaivas and other bhaktas You are Shiva
For Kaapaalikas You are Kaala-Bhairava
For Shaakteyaas You are Shakti
For people with alpa-buddhi You appear as alpam
For people who know Your Garima and have Ghana-buddhi You are a Ghana
For people who are Sharanaagati You are Venkateshvara

Harihara is the name of a combined deity form of both Vishnu (Hari) and Shiva (Hara) from the Hindu tradition. Also known as Shankaranarayana ("Shankara" is Shiva, and "Narayana" is Vishnu), Harihara is thus worshipped by both Vaishnavites and Shaivities as a form of the Supreme God, as well as being a figure of worship for other Hindu traditions in general. Harihara is also sometimes used as a philosophical term to denote the unity of Vishnu and Shiva as different aspects of the same Supreme God. The exact nature of both Vishnu and Shiva (from their associated stories in Vedic and Puranic scriptures), and their position of difference or unity (or both), is a subject of some debate amongst the different philosophical schools.

Different Concepts:
Due to the fluid and diverse nature of Hinduism there are a wide variety of beliefs and traditions associated with both Vishnu and Shiva. Some schools hold that only Vishnu (including his associated avatars) is the Supreme God, and others that Shiva (including his different incarnations) is actually the Supreme being. Some argue that both Shiva and Vishnu are the Supreme God - both being different aspects of the one person; and there are others still who regard the Supreme God as being ultimately formless (advaita, no material form) and thus see both Vishnu and Shiva as different facets of the one formless Brahman, with no material form.
Depending on which scriptures (and translations) are quoted, evidence is available to support each of the different arguments. In most cases, even if one personality is taken as being superior over the other, much respect is still offered to both Vishnu and Shiva by the other's worshippers (i.e. Shiva is still regarded as being above the level of an ordinary jiva and 'the greatest of the Vaishnavas' by Vaishnavas who worship only Vishnu).

One and the same:
Sivananda states: "Shiva and Vishnu are one and the same entity. They are essentially one and the same. They are the names given to the different aspects of the all-pervading Supreme Soul or the Absolute. 'Sivasya hridayam vishnur-vishnoscha hridayam sivah'Vishnu is the heart of Siva and likewise Siva is the heart of Vishnu'."
Swaminarayan holds that Vishnu and Shiva are different aspects of the same God.

Depiction in art:
Harihara is depicted in art as split down the middle, one half representing Shiva, the other half representing Vishnu. The Shiva half will have the matted locks of a yogic master piled high on his head and sometimes will wear a tiger skin, reserved for the most revered ascetics. Shiva's pale skin may be read as ash-covered in his role as an ascetic. The Vishnu half will wear a tall crown and other jewelry, representing his responsibility for maintaining world order. Vishnu's black/blueish skin represents holiness. Broadly, these distinctions serve to represent the duality of humble religious influence in the ascetic and authoritative secular power in the king or householder. However, in other aspects Shiva also takes on the authoritative position of householder, a position which is directly at odds with the ascetic position depicted in his Harihara manifestation.

Story of Shiva and Vishnu
Source: Moral Stories

"There are two mahaa-phala daayaka Vrukshas. One by the name Vaasudeva and the other by the name Vaamadeva. They differ only in their sumas (flowers) ('su' is replaced by 'ma' in their names), but both give the same phalas (fruits, which is moksham)". It is also often said, "How much one does not see the difference between Shiva and Vishnu, that much his aayu will increase".

One day, when Lakshmi and Vishnu were together in vihaaram, Lakshmi sees Ucchaishravam, her brother, the horse of Revanta who is the son of Surya. Engrossed in seeing her brother, she does not reply to the repeated calls of Vishnu. Seeing her attraction, Vishnu gives her shaapam to go to Bhulokam in the form of a horse and come back to Vaikuntam only after getting a son equal to Himself! She comes to Bhuloka to experience the shaapam and realizing that none other than her brother, Shiva can help her calm Vishnu, she immediately does a tapas for Him and Shiva appears to save her soodari. Lakshmi says "You and Vishnu are both same, the Paramaatma. Please help me!". Shiva says "Soodari! How do you know that we both are same? All learned people know that. Who told you?". Lakshmi says, "Once Mahavishnu Himself told me this. Seeing Him in deep Daiva-dhyaanam, I asked Him "During Samudramanthanam, I thought you were the greatest of all and hence chose you. Devaadideva! Who is better than you that you are in dhyaanam of Him?". Mahavishnu replied "I am doing Shankara-dhyaanam. He is Eshwara. He is the same as Me. All learned people know that.
If someone is my devotee but still hates Shiva, he will fall into naraka".

Saying this, She asks Shiva to pursuade Vishnu to bless Her with a child. Shiva sends Chitrarupa as a duta to convince Vishnu. Vishnu immediately accepts and comes to Bhuloka and blesses Lakshmi with Ekaveera, who is equal to Vishnu Himself. From Ekaveera came forth the Haihaya dynasty, of which the most noted king is Kartavirya Arjuna (Ekaveera's grandson).

Once when Naarada, the avatar of Vishnu, recited prayers glorifying Lord Shiva as the supreme controller of the universe, Lord Shiva, the best of Vaishnavas, at once covered his ears and angrily replied, "I am not the Lord of the universe, nor an object of Krishna's mercy! I am just a poor aatma always hankering for the favor of the servants of His servants."
(Thus in this small story, Naarada, avataar of Vishnu, glorifies Shiva as the Paramaatma and Shiva glorifies Vishnu as the Paramaatma!)

''''''''''''

The story of Hanuman, who is the 11th avataar of Shiva and Raama, the purna avataar of Vishnu also reveals the same. Both of them acheived great tasks:

1. Restricting the great samudram, Raama along with His entire army crossed the satpa-samudras! Hanuman, in one small jump, crossed it!

2. In the greatest, unparalleled ghora-yuddham, which was never seen before or will ever be seen, Raama killed Raavana! Hanuman killed Mairaavana, who was many times stronger than Raavana, with great ease!
3. Raama melted a stone, with the touch of His lotus feet, for Ahalya! Hanuman melted a stone with His sweet Gandharva gaanam!
Also to note:  Krishna lifted Govardhana giri, balanced on his little finger and saved the lives of Gopaalas! Hanuman brought the Sanjeevani Parvatam from Himaalayas to Lanka and saved Lakshmana!
Though they did great tasks like this, always Hanuman worshipped Raama, with great Vinayam(humility) and Raama worshipped Shiva with unparalleled devotion.

Impressed by the great tapas of Vi?h?u for Paramasiva, Siva gave Vi?h?u the Sudarshana Cakram.
''''''''''''
Once Shri Krishna, the avataar of Mahaavishnu, came to Upamanyu maharshi, when he was at Himaalayas. Shri Krishna said "Upamanyu muniindra! You are the greatest in the Shiva Bhaktas. I came here to do Tapas of Paramashiva to get santaanam. Please teach Me Shaiva-vidhi and vidhaanam".

Upamanyu replied "O Shri Krishna! I know who You are. Shiva puuja is not new to You. Though You know it, to make everybody know, I will tell You '" Saying thus, Upamanyu told Shri Krishna how to do Shiva-aaraadhana.

''''''''''''
This happened after the episode of Naarada, coming under Vishnu maaya, gives shaapam to Vishnu: (This is one of the reasons of Shri Raama avatar) Naarada says "Svaami! Please forgive Me. I, coming under influence of Your maaya, got ahankaar and did Your ninda. Please tell Me what can save Me from this ghora-paapam".
Vishnu says: "O Priya Naarada! You go and do paaraayana of Shankara Shatanaamams. Then You will get Shaanti. Shiva is whom I respect the most. Even by mistake don't forget this. One who doesnt have Shiva-anugraham cannot be My Bhakta. Believe this'then My maaya wont affect you."

''''''''''''
Once Vyaasa Bhagavaan came under the influence of Shiva-maaya and started telling in his Pravachanams that Vishnu is greater than Shiva. Once Nandeeshvara also heard Vyaasa Bhagavaan saying this. Vishnu Murti then appeared before Veda Vyaasa and told Him "O Maharshi! Dont you know that I and Shiva are the same? Knowing this why are you telling like this in your pravachanams?" Veda Vyaasa then had great pashchaattaapam and asked Kshama from Nandeeshvara.

''''''''''''
The phalam(fruit) of Vishnu Pooja is Shiva Bhakti ' the example is that of Arjuna. Arjuna ofcourse was the greatest Shri Krishna Bhakta. But it was Shiva who gave Arjuna moksham, when Arjuna was born as Bhakta Kannappa, in the great Kaalahastsi Kshetram.
Similarly the phalam of Shiva Pooja is Shri Raama Bhakti ' the examples are stories of Kaaka Bhushundi and Valmiki Maharshi. Kaaka Bhushundi was a great Shiva Bhakta and hence Shiva grants him Raama Bhakti Saamraajyam. Valmiki did tapas for Shiva using the Panchaakshari mantram given to him by the great Saptarshis and as a result became the Aadi Kavi and wrote the great Raamaayanam.

''''''''''''
Raasleela
It was the day when the "punya-vruksham" of Gopikas delivered its ripe fruits, called Moksham. It was the day when the Aaraadhana of Gopikas was blessed by Lord Krishna. Gopikas realized Shri Krishna, the Sarvaantaryaami, everywhere. As a result of their Aaraadhana-bhakti they realized the paramaatma's poorna-svaroopam with each one of them. Who could miss watching the Raasaleela, where the Lord showered His Karuna-jyotsna ? All the Brahma-aadi devatas were present.
Parama Shiva, the greatest bhakta of Shri Krishna, was also present in the form of a Gopika. Shri Krishna, who is always in nirantara-shiva-dhyaanam, searched for Parameshvara. Finally He realized that Shiva is none other than one of the Gopikas having sampoorna aanandam of dancing with Him. Shri Krishna paramaatma then does stuti of Eshvara and asks to bless them by staying there at Vrundaavanam by the name of Gopeeshvara.

Even today we can visit Lord Shiva, in the form of Gopeeshvara, at Vrindaavan.
Lord Shiva is the most devoted Vaishnava, according to Srimad Bhagavatham. There it is mentioned: "vaishnava:nam yadha: sambhuh".
He is also one of the 12 Mahajanas (Bhagavata Purana lists twelve Mahajanas, great devotees of Vishnu and knowers of Dharma. They are Lord Brahma, Narada, Shiva, the four Kumaras, Kapila - the son of Devahuti, Svayambhuva Manu, Prahlada, Janaka, Bhishma, Bali, Suka, and Yama.).
If one prays to Lord Shiva with genuine devotion undoubtedly they would end up at Krishna Bhakti.

 Ramesvara Mahadeva

When Sri Ramacandra was making the bridge to Lanka, he established a Siva-linga (deity form of Siva) called Ramesvara. All the common people began glorifying Lord Siva, shouting, "Ramesvara ki jaya! You are Rama's isvara: you are the lord of Rama." The demigods were unsatisfied by this and announced through an arial voice, "Ramas ca asau isvarah: Rama is God, and Sankara is also God; they are the same." Hearing this, the Siva-linga broke. Lord Siva emerged from the linga and told them all, "You are all foolish; you do not know my tattva, the established truths regarding my identity. Rama is my beloved and my God, and that is why I am called Ramesvara."

Harihara

In BR Chopra's Vishnu Puran, they showed that Shiv is "created" by Vishnu in the form of something, which to my layman's eyes looked like a potato...But that's impossible..Shiva is known as Shambhu, which is the corrupted form of Swyambhu - meaning "The one who is Self-existent"..He manifests at his own will...Shiva is the highest among Vaishnavas and Vishnu is the greatest of Shaivas

There's also an obscure legend depicting the union of Shiva and Vishnu. After Parvati killed Mahishasur and wiped out the Asura clan, his sister Mahishi escaped Devi's wrath and fled to a forest where she did penance to please Brahma. When Brahma appeared before her, she asked the boon of immortality, which Brahma refused but promised that he would grant anything else, following which, she asked the weirdest boon. She demanded that she could be killed only by a boy who was born by the union of 2 males. Brahma, bound by his word, granted the boon but was bewildered since according to the laws of nature, this was impossible..He ran to Vishnu and reported his plight. Vishnu smiled and asked him to wait for the right time. Meanwhile, an Asura was performing penance to please Shiva and obtained the boon that anyone whom he touches would instantly burnt into ashes. After getting the boon he wanted to test it on Shiva himself. Shiva fled to save himself. The three worlds including Parvati wondered why would Shiva, the soverign Lord of the universe, be scared of an ordinary Asura? As Bhasmasura was about to touch Shiva, a beautiful damsel descended from the heavens. Her beauty enchanted Bhasmasura and he forgot everything else and proposed the damsel (Mohini) to be his wife. Mohini replied that she can marry only that person who can match her in dance. Bhasmasura began to follow Mohini's dance steps and she tricked him into touching his own head and was burnt to ashes by his own powers. A delighted Shiva and Mohini began to dance erotically and a baby was born out of their union. When Shiva returned to Kailash with Mohini, Parvati was furious at him and even threatened to immolate herself like Sati. She scorned him for making out with Mohini. Shiva replied "I was in her debts - she had saved my life, I was obliged to please her"..Parvati sneered at this "Saved your life?? You are not a living being, you are Shiva, the Lord of the universe. Nothing is impossible for you. If you wished, you could have killed that Asura with a mere gaze. But you didn't - because you desired this wh**e. You promised me that you shall never eye another woman. You broke your promise"...Shiva smiled serenely and said "No Gauri, I haven't. I promised I won't eye a woman except you. I think I kept my word. Mohini is not a woman"...At this, Mohini turned back to Vishnu...They explained Parvati the nescessity of this divine leela so that Shasta, the child of Shiva and Vishnu, could be born to kill Mahishi...

Besides, Shiva and Vishnu are the only Gods who are capable of reviving the dead. Shiva revived Daksha, Ganesha and Yama. Vishnu, as Krishna, revived the dead Parikshit. Even Brahma can not do that. Because Brahma, being a living being (jiva) himself, is bound by the laws of nature. But Shiva and Vishnu are the Supersoul and Eternal. They can alter the courses of time and the laws of nature if they want to.

Hari aur Har mein tanikh na antar
Shiv mein hi Ram aur Ram mein hi Shankar

But I believe there is someone who's higher than Hari and Hara. And that is Maa Bhagwati/Adi-Shakti. Both Shiva (Her husband) and Vishnu (Her brother) worship Her. MahaVishnu manifests in Her womb - the Hiranyagarbha and creates millions of universes. At the end of time, Mahakaal devours the cosmology and Himself dissolves in Mahakaali...

Getting what we want is called yoga retaining what we have is called kshema……..
The Lord says if you think of me with single minded devotion I give you what you want and I retain what you have…….ANANYACHINTAYATHOMAM..YE JANAPARYAPASATE..TE SHAM NITYABHI YUKTAAM YOGA KSHEMAM VAHAMYAHAM…..same phrases used in valmiki rAmyana-YETI HI  SARVA LOKASYA YOGA KSHEMAM VIDASTA HITAHA..
Remember Ramanatha stands for giving!!!

Brotherhood
If elder brother having diabetes younger brother brought laddu and having in front of him..eats in his presence what sort of brotherhood is this?! Its your karma that you are having diabetes who the hell said that.. after all the poor man is human, he may have diabetes but still he has sweet tooth and soothe, you want to enjoy sweets eat it in a room don’t be inhuman..Some people do that, care concern compassion is missing!!
Remember “Giving is living”
“ A non entity will become a celebrity.”
Paduka ruled once in Ikshvaku dynasty the 14years Surya vamsha ruled..not the  Shanku , Chakra or the Mukutam came in-between..when come to temple disburden this, talk to the Lord for 5minutes in the morning and 5minutes in the evening talk to the lord and disburden yourself, whenever there is a problem , pray..Mahatma Gandhi-used to say I can miss the morning breakfast but not morning prayers to lord..
because prayer is the time of empowering yourself..
the Prayer is believing
the prayer is behaving
the Prayer is belonging and being-be there mentally….
Crossroads –while taking decision.
Decision cannot be taken when in a vacuum..Decision is made by the mind ..mind is governed by the vasana..The vasana is controlled by samskara and Samskaras controlled by Karma.. Karma belongs to this birth and past births and determined by our company so all this together makes you decide..I hope you all understand..ask him to decide, make him the fulcrum of your mind, make the lord the kingpin work he will send a flash the idea …be humble …
Remember “the Bhaktha will never go ill”
Lord Guruvayurappa will look after………….

One more less of waiting the bhaktas of 3 types………
1. Listen to story of Lord
2. Listen to story of lord and starts walking towards him
3. Listen and Lord walks towards the Bhaktha ..
Be the third option like which is very difficult but aim to that Lord Sri Hari will lead you ….

All the beauty of world remains in Lord Rama / Lord Krishna
Unable to go to Lord…not worry the Lord will come to and see the bhaktha..be positive…
Adi Sankara says(Guru ashtakam)
What is the use of money?
what is the use of being famous in overseas among friends ..if not attached to the Lotus feet of Guru what if  not Guru removes andakara, ajnana darkness of ignorant…..If you have a child sitting next to you in puja if you are looking at a other way the child takes the bell and starts ringing because it has seen you doing puja that’s the way learn from guru……self evaluation—Coming to temple there comes a lot obstacle when going to a party , to meet a friend you will not have any sort of obstacle but coming to temple you will have lots of reasons whole lots of obstacles but we all got to remember this any sadana Lord wants us to go thru….get over them.. sadana will always have obstacles. overcome obstacles that is how sadana takes place way of doing sadana. People take mantra in frenzy way
nowadays ….mantra on internet!!Japa on internet mantra has to be taken by the shishya from guru face to face there are certain things which are forbidden..Its a spiritual password don’t  play with it..you are playing with fire..Tapasya should grow day after day…
Anger is subject we can speak of when not in angry the ego the very difficult to get out.
The mother of a child is so angelic when in puja room doing puja chanting lord ..as soon as finishing and coming out of puja room she starts scolding children that this you are this that scolding them what impact on the children child requests mother to be in puja room for some more time..don’t be like that being in temple puja room losing anger is tapasya all devoted things will be drained within minutes if get anger and show the anger on someone..attitude got to be changed……..
As grow old don’t have burning ambition to do something good will have ..and weakness will come inn..energy can be used and abused decide how to use that energy..mind is happy when lead disciplined life.
Arjuna Partha needed 18 chapters to know about Lord where as Sabari needed the moment to know the Lord that was knowledge she gained from her Guru Mathuga maharishi..
To see the God going temple get the best from it
You give the best , you get the best..and he is the best to give all  the best things on this earth ..
I remember  and praise the Gujarat’s praying way….In Vallava Sampradaya—Taking out the stem of flower and take only petals of flowers to worship lord…Got to be involved in such a way ..
1. Padasevanam--- like Bharatha to Rama’s Paduka and ruled the country until his brother returns to kingdom…( Brother hood )
2. Archanam--- waiting patiently for years and years just to have glimpse of Lord  Rama like Sabari
3.Vandanam--- ..like Bhishmacharya during at doors of death also the lord himself bowed to him the bhaktha……..

superficial miracles as months....

When a woman conceives, at the point she will have the soul in her solely body ...........Pregnancy
1st month - kalil [shukla+ shonith]
2nd month - kathin [shirotpatti]
3rd month - ankur [avayava]
4th month - garbh vriddhi [asthi etc]
5th month - charmotpatti
6th month - angaj [roma loma nakha]
7th month - chaitanya [ jeevotpatti ,gyanendriya]
8th month - ashnodwega [matru ahara shvasat ,shisu dehapushti]
9th month prasavodwega [sarvanga sampurna]
10th month prasava kala [ birth and agyana ]

Shastras prescribe that when we are in pleasure ,we must think it is due to ashirwad of the elders and guru [apart from good deeds, which obviously we have not done independently] ,when in grief we must think God has accorded bad days to wash off our sins.
We are always made to suffer less than the committed sins [God is merciful] without doubt.
Heavenly bodies don't invade impure bodies. But inferior beings do invade the bodies.......

santanam

"satputra praptyartham " should be enough because a satputra is one who gets all the ancestors towards heaven.
We get sons as per our yogyata. Except Kashyap/swayambhu manu none has begot Lord as son .
Nonethless you can still say it this way ,
"yadvat Dashrathaye tadvat satputra prapthyartham"

when time permits further will try to digest this santana gopala manthra discussion.and also on .manthra getting and who got   kanya santanam in purana itihaas on performing homam........

Body

When a person dies, when does the soul leave the body? --> Is it immediate and does the soul enter another yoni immediately?
At no point soul is bodyless. it aquires different bodies in different circumstances. Death is parting of human body. after parting immidiately it acquires preta yoni.but since daha samskara would not have been done ,it is held by yamadutas. immedately after death , it is taken to yamapuri ,there a judgement is passed onto its karmas. The time taken for this is the delay in completing samskara for the mrut deha.
once the soul is brought back from the yamapuri ,and samskara is over[burning] , it is left free to roam in the premises of its death among family members.
here it is of the size of the thumb , with everyday food given to it during ten days it acquires shape and size a foot everyday. thus during this period it evalvates the emotions of near and dears. and tries to cut attachments , garud purana is mainly for that. After 13th day it starts its journey towards its abode [as decided in yamapuri] .this is a year long journey.here it acquires vayu prachur yoni.
IN swarga it acquies sukhamaya deha. in naraka it acquires Dukhamaya deha ....
In all difrent places have different yonis , wherever it goes it takes on that body.

Ravana as brahmana

Why is Ravana considered a Brahmana? Isn't he the son of Kekasi who is a Rakshasa stree? (I heard that the child gets the varna of the mother). For instance, in MahaBharata, while Dritharashtra and Pandu are both considered Kshatriyas because of being born to Ambika and Ambalika, Vidura is considered a Sudra because he is born to a Dasi.

On a similar note, I am also confused about the varna of Sri Vyasa Bhagavan. Since he is born to Satyavati (Matsya Gandhi), isn't he supposed to be Sudra? But he is considered a Brahmana.

Interesting query ,but the assumptions on which question is raised is faulty.

1.Bramhanas are there in every types of species, rakshasas , devatas, manushya, sarpa etc. example vasuki, shesha are bramhana , takshak is kshatriya etc.among sarpas, Brahaspati is bramhana, rudra is kshatriya, etc,
kekasi is daugther of Maya .
2. when father and mother are of different castes ,son born belongs to neither father's nor mothers' caste but to anoher caste altogther.

like bramhana father sudra mother gives Parasava ,bramhana father and vaishya mother gives ambashta ,vaishya father and bramhana mother gives vaidehika etc. Thus there are many castes.
3. many types of sons are there according to dharma aurasa, dattaka, kritrim etc
4.when x bear a son from somebody else's wife ,its still their child ,of their caste .noy mr X's caste.
5.So VYASA 's son in ambika and ambalika were still kshatriyas and kuruvanshi not vashishta vanshi.
6.Dasi was not married hence vidura was parasava not sudra. When either of mixed parents are sudra, no upanayana samskara is carried out , for all others upnayana is carried out.
7.But when kshatriya mother marries bramhana father , he is murdhavastika ,but he can lead life either as bramhin or kshatriya as per his liking. Parashurama leads bramhin life but Drupad though from mudgal lineage leads Kshatriya life.
8.Satyavati was born to a kshatriya King ,his semen was swallowed by a fish.
Reference is manusmriti ,almost all puranas talk about varnashrama dharma.
for details of castes plz visit ITIHASS THE BOOK OF CASTES DESCRIPTION..

but if u want to read mor interested to explore yourself in this topic goahead...... as i heard and read holy book of hindus according to kaliyug...the ppl knwoledge pouring extrem to and forgetting the shastras which has got lil value to all humans now....sorry to say that..

Sudras were not ill treated at any point of time prior to kaliyug.
As the varaha /padma purana says , Many rakshasa take birth in kaliyug in brahmana castes , it is these who ill treated the sudras.
God exists in everyone he alone directs all the soul. So God in every soul has to be addressed as laid down by shastras. But upasana of God is prescribed only in the god as present in agni, cow, tulasi, bramhins, idols in the temple.etc. God though present in a dog , insects also , we dont pray Him there. Neither we pray him in kshatriya etc.
Then prayer to God in these bodies is represented by taking care of these. when you take care of a child , god in it is happy, when serve a old man, god in him is prayed, similarly when you feed the animals , god in it is pleased.

there are different form of pleasing God , you cannot apply same yardstick everywhere.
There is no shastra where sudra should be oppresed, infact being an inteligent dependent entity he is supposed to be taken care of by the society .
The body of sudra is inherently incapable of staying away from hunger , fasting, penace and hence strict rules of living are exempted for him.
( god is merciful, he gets all the punya by just serving one who does lots of punya by severe austereties)
Now a temple is popular because , God present in idol grants wishes , he can do so as long as there is sannidhi in this idol.
sannidhi is greater with greater austerities. And since temple has just become a place of pilgrimage, tourist spot , sannidhi no longer exists and also wishes are definitely granted ,it has become a random phenomena, hence now allowing everyone

bhojanasalas

In certain temples, other castes are not allowed into Bhojan Salas (exclusively for Brahmins). If all Chaturvarnas are children of God, why this distinction.

Bhojan sala question was very interesting,
asper my knowledge ...

we share papa of those whom we share clothes money and food.
eating together also entiles us to share sins of others.
we know people suffer because of sins.
A foriegner is known sinner , sin is their way of life.[drinking, free sexuality ,cow slaughter etc are allowed in those countries , and they find nothing wrong with it, for us it is sin, which we are afraid of ]
this is known as panktidooshan (it is far more severe form of papa, according to manusmriti)
to avoid a debate on all these ,people eat alone.

karma

In my post latest , I have mentioned about "svavarnaashramochita karma " .

This is a very interesting topic . It seems absurd as today almost karma or occupation are no longer caste based . Varna based .
Ashram dharma has also dwindled . In such scenario why the saints are still insisting on swavarnashramochit vyayahar karma , and attribute it to Lord and not other karmas .

This point becomes more pronounced when reading GEETA intensely . GEETA is full of reference to varna and ashrama .

what is the route of Varna and ashrama dharma ? why is it necessary ? what is its importance ?

To a general person , a common man it makes no sense . as it comes across as a common distribution of work in the society . Later turned into hype .

But a when discussed from spiritual point of view its importance oozes out ! let's examine !

Geeta strongly stresses that KArma should be done without desires !

SO i take these words seriously as KRISHNA instructs me to do so.
SO next moment I am desire less . so what's next . WHy should I do any work . I have no desires . I dont intend to earn money ! I dont desire to Protect the kinsmen ! I dont desire to serve others as well . I dont desire to appease dieties , as I dont desire boons ! I dont desire longevity as I have no desire to live !

So now AM I right ? Whatever I am prompted to do is desire , but Lord says no desires . so what should be my motivation ?

Lord Krishna says your motivation should be to appease me !
SO what should I do to appease/please you ? How should I know it ! where can i get these instructions ! oh Lord you are not visible , everybody else asks to do something for his own selfish end .
EVerywhere is desire ruling ! How can I stay away from desire and yet attain your grace and Please you .

The answer is I cannot just anything I desire as my selfish end and say oh Lord be Pleased with IT !
SO Lord has set the VArna and ashrama Dharma and instructed that adherence to this will please him . SO one need not sit quiet and waste time pondering over what is right or wrong , but accomplish what is ordained as his duties according to birth and age.

Such karma only pleases LORD

caste

1. Are people usually born in the same family again? is it true that in third generation families are re-untied again?

2.If someone has been born a i.e Hindu and a certain caste, does that mean they have been previously and will be born in the future as that same religion and caste?

lil on to topic now firstly... Are people born in ........
Birth in a family is due to runaanubandha, if you owe something to someone then you become a family in the next birth . but we take series of births to exhaust some previous punys , immediATE NEXT BIRTHS ARE NOT ON ACCOUNT EXACT PREVIOS BIRTH KARMA , IT COMES OUT OF VERY OLD KARMA. so need not be born in same family again.

a half day upavasa[fast ] entitles one to stay in swarga for 1000 years ,then how can one reunite in just thrid generation say 100 years later. this can only happen if one has done karma suited only for enjoying on earth and not a single karma to either go to swarga or narak.
chances are bleak , only people of arctic region are supposedly of this type.

q2.people's caste and religion keeps changing as per karma .
one achieves moksha only after becoming a bramhin and sanyasa after going through series of births through all the castes and animal births.
so after acquiring human birth one must stop behaving like animals and try retain the birth in next cycle also.

When Vayu came down to earth as monkey all the devatas were born as monkeys . tretayuga
when vayu came down as Kshatriya [Bheema]all devtas came down to serve him as kshatriyas. dwaparyuga
next in kaliyuga Vayu came down as Bramhin , all devatas came down as bramhins........(eg:Raghavendraswamy (madhwas) as brahmin)

karma phalam

A few questions though:
1. If I were a selfish person, I would say Krishnarpana for all the bad things that I do and not say Krishnarpana when I do something good so that I retain the Karma phala. However most of us say Krishnarpanam for most deeds; actually we probably dont say it while doing something bad.
2. Is it OK to say Krishnarpanamasthu and what is the difference between this and Krishnarpanam.

Technically krishnarpanam absolves you of sins as well even .
But what you give to lord comes back to you infinitely .
1.If you say krishnarpanam for good work then its phala comes bak to you infinitely , if dont say krishnarpanam , it comes back to you per your conviction.
2.if it is bad work .
if there is no conviction in mind while doing the bad ,and you say krishnarpanam ,it does not affect you [ the test for such act is there will be no guilt feeling even if you have done heinous crime]
if there is no conviction in mind and you dont say krishnarpana ,you suffer the consequences as much as your partcipation in the act .
if there is conviction and you say krishnarpana as a sense of deciet then you get it back in full without any control of yours and at the same time with full sense of misery.
if there is conviction and you dont say krisnarpanam you go to hell to obsolve your sins .

krishnarpanamastu means let this be attributed to krishna
krishnarpanam means attributed to Krishna
there is no difference.

Souls do have gender , male soul is always male and female is always female there is never interchange of gender .
But female souls are dependent on male eternally paired Soul for its moksha , it goes to moksha alongwith the male soul only untill then it waits .
Thus mopst of the karma is done by male soul thus the ref: "He".
krishnarpanam
